Central Street Bridge Now Open w/ Restrictions
Repairs have been completed to the westbound lane of the Central Street Bridge over the Sudbury River in Saxonville. MassDOT has completed a review of the repairs and an analysis of the bridge weight capacity. The bridge will be reopened to two-way traffic on Wednesday February 10th with a posted weight limit restriction in both directions. The Central Street Bridge will be posted with the following weight restrictions: 2-axle vehicles 14 tons, 3-axle vehicles 15 tons, and 5-axle vehicles 18 tons. Vehicles with weights in excess of this posting shall seek alternate routes. Link to Possible Alternate Routes
The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority is rehabilitating the Hultman Aqueduct in Framingham

Barletta has started breaking into the Hultman Aqueduct to establish the internal inspection access point at Brook Street in Framingham. This is about 6,800 feet from the access point that has already been established at Shaft L in Framingham.

Fencing and small construction trailers are located at Grove Street, Framingham and Rice Road, Wayland, which Barletta will break into next for access points. Actual inspection is scheduled to start 11/12/09.

Park and Recreation Department Public Meeting
Park and Recreation Department Public Meeting to discuss the development of Cushing Memorial Park Phase IV.

Gene Bolinger from Weston and Sampson Engineering will be presenting the Phase IV Plan of Cushing Memorial Park to the public.

Proposed Amendment to Sign Bylaws
The Board of Selectmen will be conducting a public meeting on March 23, 2010 to hear comments on recommendation submitted by Town staff to amend the appeal and waiver process regarding signs. The meeting will be in the Ablondi Room at 7:00 pm. The Board of Selectmen would appreciate that written comments be submitted to Planning.Department@Framinghamma.gov no later than March 19, 2010 at 4 p.m. For further information please contact Gene Kennedy at 508 532-5455.
