PUBLIC HEALTH MONTH
On Thursday April 29 the Framingham Medical Reserve Corps hosted a presentation on caring for your pets in emergencies. Director of Animal Control, Katherine MacKenzie, spoke about ways to prepare for and care for pets when emergencies such as storms or floods occur.
This event was held as part of our ongoing GET READY PROGRAM , a national effort that works to help Americans prepare themselves, their families and their communities for all hazards, including natural disasters, pandemic flu and other emergencies.
